Hickory Golf Days was conceived after visiting Kingarrock Golf Course in Scotland, where play is only allowed with hickory shafted clubs. The experience of playing with hickory shafted clubs that were 80 to 100 years old, combined with modern reproductions of rubber mesh balls of the period was an experience I will never forget.
Forming Hickory Golf Days means I can give club golfers up and down the country the same unique experience at their own golf club, for a truly unforgettable day. Golf societies looking for an away day with a difference will give the members the opportunity of playing golf from a bygone age. For the ultimate corporate golf event; give your clients and guests the opportunity of playing with hickory shafted golf clubs. An event that will totally eclipse any previous corporate golf days. To enter into the spirit of the day players are encouraged to dress in period clothing making great photo opportunities for all players on the day. |

Hickory Golf Days provide prizes for various competitions during the day (including best dressed player).
Although we are limited to 40 sets, up to 160 players can participate on one day, depending on the playing format chosen.
